About this opportunity
Collier County Board of County Commissioners is pursuing a sole source procurement for Technology At Work of SWFL to provide comprehensive maintenance services for its Fleet Management self-service car-wash system located at 2901 Count Barn Rd. The procurement encompasses preventive maintenance services, repairs, parts, supplies, soaps, chemicals, and new equipment necessary to maintain the car-wash system used by nearly all county departments, including the Collier County Sheriff's Office. The proposed contract period runs from February 19, 2025, to September 30, 2028, with a submission deadline of February 26, 2025, at 3:30 pm. Technology At Work of SWFL is being considered as a single source provider due to their unique role as a service provider and distributor for multiple equipment and technology brands, including J.E Adams, I Clean Dog Wash, Etowah Valley, PurWater, CryptoPay, and others. The procurement process is not a traditional bid or quote solicitation, but rather an opportunity for potential vendors to submit documentation demonstrating alternative qualified sources for the identified services.
This procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational respondents. Interested parties are required to submit their responses exclusively through the Collier County Procurement Services Division Online Bidding System, with the Procurement Services Division retaining sole authority to evaluate and approve alternative commodity or service proposals. While no specific budget range is explicitly stated, the comprehensive nature of the services suggests a significant operational investment covering maintenance, equipment, and supplies for the county's fleet management car-wash system. The sole source designation indicates a preference for Technology At Work of SWFL based on their specialized distribution network and service capabilities across multiple equipment brands. Respondents are explicitly instructed not to provide pricing information, focusing instead on demonstrating their potential capability to meet the county's specific maintenance and technological requirements.
