About this opportunity
The State of New Hampshire Department of Safety, Division of State Police has issued a Request for Bids (RFB) for professional installation services of Nextivity SHIELD MegaFI 2 HPUE Mobile Routers in state-owned vehicles. The procurement requires turnkey installation services for fifty-four (54) mobile routers across multiple vehicle types, including Chevrolet Tahoes, Dodge Chargers, an armored SWAT vehicle, custom emergency scene trucks, side-by-side UTVs, Hyundai sedans, and Chevrolet Traverses. Installation deliverables include secure device mounting, antenna installation and routing, cable routing with strain relief, electrical power connections, system verification, and basic functional testing. Qualified vendors must be registered as vendors with the State of New Hampshire, possess a Certificate of Good Standing from the NH Secretary of State, provide at least two current client references demonstrating successful experience with similar vehicle types and installations, and maintain comprehensive general liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, along with workers' compensation compliance certification. Work must be performed within New Hampshire or at facilities within a 60-mile radius or 60-minute commute of NHSP Troop F in Twin Mountain, New Hampshire. The award will be made on a firm fixed price, not-to-exceed basis to the vendor meeting all RFB terms and conditions while providing the lowest total cost. Bids are due no later than 2:30 PM EST on April 8, 2026, with the contract term effective from the date of Governor and Executive Council approval through September 30, 2026.
The RFB documents do not identify any specific set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular organization types, disadvantaged enterprises, or minority-owned businesses. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the procurement materials. The installation scope involves integration with existing state-owned vehicles across two primary locations: NHSP Headquarters at 33 Hazen Drive in Concord, New Hampshire, and NHSP Troop F at 549 US-302 in Twin Mountain, New Hampshire. Vendors are afforded flexibility in service delivery, as they may perform installations either at the state's facility locations or at their own facilities meeting the geographic proximity requirements. Payment will be made within thirty days of receipt of properly documented invoices and acceptance of work, submitted electronically to accountspayable@dos.nh.gov. No specific budget range or estimated contract value is provided in the RFB documents; however, all bid responses must include completed vendor application forms, W-9 forms, and detailed pricing information submitted as searchable PDF files not exceeding 10MB.
