About this opportunity

The Agency for Community Transit (ACT) is requesting quotes for promotional items for MCT and MCT Trails — including sunglasses, squeeze toys, frisbees, pencils, sticky books, power clips, lights, bike bells, yo-yos, and microfiber cloths totaling approximately 4,500 units — with quotes due August 7, 2026 and delivery required by September 1, 2026. Bonfire registration is required to access the bid table and full specifications. This contract is partially funded by CMAQ grants from the Illinois Department of Transportation and is therefore subject to applicable federal laws, executive orders, and regulations.

The scope specifies ten distinct promotional item categories with individual unit quantities, required branding and imprint specifications, materials, dimensions, and packaging. All bids must include imprint costs and reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included. Artwork specifications must be submitted within three business days of contract award, and proofs must receive written approval from ACT's project manager no later than August 19, 2026, before printing proceeds. Award will be made to the lowest cumulative quote from a responsible bidder meeting all specifications. Minor product variances may be considered at ACT's sole discretion if variance requests are submitted before the bid close date with sufficient supporting information.

Delivery is to the Agency for Community Transit's Marketing Department in Pontoon Beach, Illinois. Vendors must coordinate deliveries with the project manager during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays) and notify the owner immediately of any significant problems or delivery delays. The contract is governed by MCT and ACT General Terms and Conditions, which include cybersecurity requirements, OSHA compliance, civil rights obligations, drug and alcohol policy maintenance, and preference for recycled and environmentally sustainable products under EPA guidelines.
