About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Safety Office is conducting a single-source procurement for Map Production and Advertisement Services. The intended vendor is Visit Florida, which holds non-exclusive rights to use the map's trademark or copyrighted content. The contract term is for one year, with an estimated dollar amount of $50,000. FDOT is seeking information from prospective vendors regarding their ability to provide these services, which include producing the 2023 Official Transportation Map and selling advertising space to support the map's production costs. The map's development is intended to support FDOT's Target Zero initiative, which aims to reduce transportation-related serious injuries and deaths across Florida to zero. Vendors must submit information by 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, December 2, 2022, to the specified email or mailing address.
This single-source procurement does not have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current known vendor is Visit Florida, which has non-exclusive rights to the map's intellectual property. The contract value is estimated to be $50,000, and the map's production costs are offset by the sale of advertising space that promotes Florida travel, tourist attractions, and services.
