About this opportunity
Northwest Florida State College is requesting quotes for lift station pump and controls replacement with bids due August 20, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. EDT (questions due August 17 at 5:00 p.m. EDT). The work is located in Okaloosa County, Florida.
The scope encompasses full replacement labor, materials, and equipment for lift station pumps and controls. The existing pumps are approximately 11 years old with documented deficiencies: cut and spliced pump cords, a damaged volute on one pump, and obsolete control components with limited parts availability. The contractor must field-verify existing conditions, dimensions, electrical service, pump connections, guide rails, and control requirements prior to ordering equipment to ensure proper fit and specification. The work includes removal, installation, wiring, testing, startup, and incidental work to return the system to complete, reliable operation.
This is an informal RFQ process with electronic bid submission required. Contact Katherine St. Onge at Northwest Florida State College's Purchasing Department at (850) 678-5111 ext. Purchasing or purchasing@nwfsc.edu with questions.
The source does not identify estimated contract value, contract term, evaluation criteria, incumbent contractor, or whether any set-asides or local-vendor preferences apply.
