About this opportunity
The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, conducting procurement on behalf of the State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, is requesting bids on labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to plant 35,500 shrub seedlings across three locations in Central Utah under IFB JH27-119, with bids due October 12, 2026.
The scope spans three planting sites: 16,500 seedlings at Santaquin Wildlife Management Area near Santaquin (39.911170, -111.813921); 15,000 seedlings at Sheepcreek near Spanish Fork (39.985197, -111.337971); and 4,000 seedlings at Spencer Fork Wildlife Management Area near Birdseye (39.81327, -111.51773). The vendor must commence planting on October 20, 2026, and complete all plantings by November 20, 2026. KMZ Google Earth files are attached identifying exact coordinates.
No mandatory site visit will be held prior to bidding; however, potential bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect all three sites to assess general and local conditions affecting performance costs. Failure to conduct a pre-bid site inspection does not constitute grounds for claims after contract award.
The procurement anticipates a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. All three line items are combined for evaluation purposes, meaning the bidder submitting the lowest overall cost across all three sites will be selected. The vendor must guarantee pricing through project completion; no price adjustments are permitted after contract award. Specific pricing information, contract value estimates, or incumbent contractor details are not provided in the solicitation materials.
