About this opportunity
Commerce City Schools in Commerce, Georgia issued an RFP on January 4, 2023 for interactive flat panel displays and installation at Commerce High School, with proposals due February 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EST. The district seeks to replace approximately 37 existing Epson short-throw projectors across classrooms with new interactive displays. Vendors may propose either ViewSonic ViewBoard or ClearTouch Interactive Panels only — no substitutions are permitted.
The scope requires 26 units of 75-inch displays and 11 units of 86-inch displays with specified accessories: PC modules with Intel i5 processors (or i7 in the ClearTouch option), extended warranties, Wi-Fi adapters, mobile stands, wall mounts, and professional development services. All equipment must be new, not refurbished or gray-market. Vendors must be authorized resellers and must provide inside delivery with liftgate service, fully assemble all products, test each panel at its assigned location, and dispose of all shipping materials. Removal of existing projectors, mounts, cabling, and associated equipment is invited; all removed equipment goes to district staff. Vendors must submit at least three references from school districts with similar implementations and a completed Statement of Eligibility and Compliance.
Evaluation weights are total project cost (30 points), prior vendor experience and manufacturer knowledge (20 points), K-12 references and similar implementations (20 points), scope of work and specification compliance (15 points), completion timeline (10 points), and additional benefits (5 points). The anticipated purchase date is February 17, 2023, with preferred delivery and installation on or before April 28, 2023. Board approval was tentatively scheduled for February 13, 2023. Proposals must remain valid for a minimum of 60 days. 1Accord Technologies was selected as the winning vendor with an overall weighted score of 4.7.
