About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS), acting on behalf of the Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), is seeking a sole-source procurement for HAAS Alert R2V Safety Cloud Service and transponder installation. This contract opportunity involves digital alert services with regional installations planned across Metro Atlanta, west Georgia, coastal Georgia, and Middle Georgia. The procurement is structured as a one-year agency contract with four potential one-year renewal options. Bidders must be registered with the Georgia Department of Revenue and the GA Secretary of State's Office, and must demonstrate compliance with tax obligations. The bid requires specific documentation uploads, and while no bonds are necessary, contractors must provide liability insurance as specified in the RFQ instruction document. Key requirements include immigration and security clearances due to installation responsibilities, and suppliers must be prepared to include all delivery, shipping, fuel surcharge, and insurance fees in their pricing, with no additional charges permitted.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were explicitly mentioned in the contract opportunity details. The procurement is open to qualified vendors who can meet the technical and administrative requirements. No incumbent vendor information was provided, though the contract specifies this is a HAAS Alert-specific procurement with no brand substitutions allowed. While no specific award value or budget range was detailed, the document notes that quantities listed are estimates only, and neither quantities nor monetary value are guaranteed. The contract appears to be a flexible, open agency contract designed to establish a service relationship for digital safety alert technology across multiple Georgia regions. Interested suppliers should carefully review all documentation and ensure complete compliance with registration, insurance, and documentation requirements to be considered for award.
