About this opportunity

The Georgia Technology Authority is requesting proposals for E-Rate–eligible voice, long-distance, and Internet services to serve the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice's 26 Youth Detention Center school sites throughout the state, with proposals due February 10, 2010. E-Rate Universal Services funding eligibility is the governing constraint: services must be competitively bid and registered with the USAC 470 form to qualify for federal reimbursement.

The scope covers telecommunications services (voice, long distance, and Internet) across 26 geographically distributed YDC school locations. Currently, the Department of Juvenile Justice receives these services through the GAIT Managed Network Outsourcing Provider Contract with AT&T, but those arrangements are not approved for E-Rate funds. The new contract must satisfy E-Rate compliance requirements to unlock federal subsidy eligibility.

No contract value, term length, incumbent transition details, evaluation criteria, question deadline, or pre-proposal conference information is specified in the source.
