About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) is seeking to procure telephone administration services from the Florida Alliance of Information and Referral Services (FLAIRS) to provide Florida residents with free information about USDA Child Nutrition Programs in accordance with federal law. FDACS has determined that FLAIRS is the sole organization certified to operate the 211 network and provide comprehensive health and human service information to Florida residents, as designated by the Federal Communications Commission. The intended single-source contract period is from contract execution through August 30, 2024, with an estimated contract amount of up to $100,000 and an approximate value of $64,000. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide these services are requested to submit relevant information to FDACS by April 30, 2024.

FLAIRS is the legislatively authorized 211 collaborative organization responsible for the Florida 211 Network, and FDACS has determined they are the sole-source provider for these services. If no other qualified vendors are identified, FDACS will move forward with the single-source award to FLAIRS. The procurement is limited to FLAIRS, as they are the only organization certified to operate the 211 network and provide the required services to Florida residents.
