About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) published by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). FDACS is seeking to procure telephone administration services from the Florida Alliance of Information and Referral Services (FLAIRS) to provide Florida residents with free information about USDA Child Nutrition Programs in accordance with federal law. The intended single-source contract period is from contract execution through August 30, 2024. FDACS has determined that FLAIRS is the only organization certified to operate the 211 network and provide comprehensive health and human service information to Florida residents, as designated by the Federal Communications Commission.

The estimated contract amount is up to $100,000, with an approximate value of $64,000. FLAIRS is the sole-source provider for these services, as they are the legislatively authorized 211 collaborative organization responsible for the Florida 211 Network. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide these services are requested to submit relevant information to FDACS by April 30, 2024. If no other qualified vendors are identified, FDACS will move forward with the single-source award to FLAIRS.
