About this opportunity

Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners Purchasing Department issued Request for Quotation #700108/KP for a term contract to procure fan heads with adjustable pedestal mounts. The solicitation requires quotations for 25 units of 30-inch oscillating industrial circulation fans (MAXESS CLIMATE CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES #CED4066 or equal) and 25 units of adjustable pedestal mounts (MAXESS CLIMATE CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES #CED4048 or equal). The fan heads must feature UL listing, 2-speed motors, steel/aluminum blades with a minimum CFM output of 6200, and factory-wired 10-foot cords designed for 120V, 60 Hz operation. The pedestal mounts must be constructed of industrial steel and be adjustable from 4 feet to a maximum of 7 feet in height. All items must be new, of current manufacture, and carry factory warranties covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery and acceptance. Pricing must be firm and fixed with no escalation clauses, quoted in single unit prices within two decimal points. The original submission deadline of October 27, 2016 was extended via Amendment #1, with a revised deadline of November 2, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County time, and faxed or emailed responses were acceptable.

The successful vendor will be awarded a 12-month term contract with the option to renew for four additional 12-month periods, subject to mutual written agreement and appropriation of funds. Delivery must occur within ten business days of receiving a delivery order, with the F.O.B. point designated as destination (Palm Beach County Purchasing Warehouse, 2455 Vista Parkway, West Palm Beach, FL 33411), and the vendor retains all transportation responsibility, liability, and risk in transit. Palm Beach County applies a 5 percent local preference to quoters with permanent places of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades, and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program preference allowing certified SBE vendors within 10 percent of the lowest responsive bid to receive award consideration. The solicitation documents do not specify an incumbent vendor, estimated award value, or budget range. Respondents must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, submit a non-discrimination policy, undergo criminal history record checks if applicable, and acknowledge receipt of Amendment #1 by returning it with their response; failure to include any revised response pages will result in rejection of the submission.
