About this opportunity
Jones County School System (JCSS) in Georgia is issuing an electronic Request for Quote (eRFQ 26_21) for Anti-Virus & Firewalls Protection products and services, specifically the ESET Protect Elite Product. The procurement requires suppliers to provide renewal quotations for 1,400 licenses of ESET Protect Elite endpoint security software, with pricing proposals requested for contract terms of one year, three years, and five years. The ESET Protect Elite bundle must include comprehensive security capabilities encompassing endpoint and server security, mobile threat defense, advanced threat defense through LiveGuard Advanced, full disk encryption, cloud application protection for Microsoft 365, vulnerability and patch management, EDR/XDR functionality through ESET Inspect, and multi-factor authentication through ESET Secure Authentication. Evaluation will be scored on a combined basis with cost representing 60 percent and technical/proposal factors representing 40 percent, with the most competitive cost proposal receiving the maximum cost score. The deadline for written questions is October 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM with responses provided by October 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM, while quotes must be submitted electronically through Bidnet Direct by October 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Proposal evaluation is expected to be completed on or about October 22, 2025, with a Notice of Intent to Award anticipated the week of October 27, 2025, and Notice of Award the week of October 29, 2025.
Suppliers must comply with all mandatory requirements including submission of a Certificate of Non-Collusion, Department of Audits Immigration and Security Form, District Certification Form, Tax Compliance Form, and W-9, and must maintain commercial general liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate limit. All responses must be submitted electronically through Bidnet Direct without exceptions to contract terms unless explicitly stated and approved by JCSS, with proposals remaining valid for 90 days from the closing date. Tie-bid preference is given to in-county suppliers, followed by in-state suppliers and suppliers with Georgia-made products. Suppliers must comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act, including E-Verify enrollment requirements, and must undergo background checks for all employees and subcontractors working on JCSS property. The contract procurement documents do not specify the incumbent vendor, existing contract award value, or budget range for this renewal procurement. JCSS reserves the right to make a single or multiple awards and may proceed directly to award without posting a Notice of Intent to Award if the contract value is below $100,000.
