About this opportunity
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division is seeking proposals for an electronic fuel dispensing and card lock processing system to be used statewide on an as-needed basis. The contract will be mandatory for state agencies located in the geographic regions serviced by the contract, while the University and Community College System, the Court System, the Legislative Counsel Bureau, and Political Subdivisions may use the contract at their discretion. The contract term is anticipated to be four years, with an option to renew for two additional years. Proposals are due by November 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM and must address detailed requirements for the card lock system, cardholder maintenance, online card management system, electronic card readers and tank monitoring systems, emergency fuel supply, transition and implementation, and reporting. Pricing information is to be provided separately, and the contract will be awarded to the proposal that provides the best value to the State.
The current equipment used by the State is owned by the State, including the card readers and site controllers, which are Fuelmaster 2500 Plus series. Vendors must be able to use the current systems or provide a plan to convert to a new system without additional cost to the using agencies. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and the State has completed the evaluation process and intends to award the contract to Thomas Petroleum LLC, though the contract will not be effective until approved by the Nevada State Board of Examiners. The value of the contract is not specified.
