About this opportunity

The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) is issuing a documented quotation solicitation for the purchase of twin mattresses totaling 121 units, consisting of 102 Twin XL Standard Depth Mattresses and 19 Twin Standard Depth Mattresses. Vendors must submit firm, fixed-price quotations that include all shipping, handling, and delivery charges with FOB Destination terms, and pricing must be consolidated into unit cost and total cost columns for each mattress type on the required Vendor Response form (Attachment B). All mattresses must be delivered no later than June 30, 2017, and vendors are required to provide warranty information and estimated delivery dates as part of their bid submission. Award will be made to the responsible vendor whose acceptable response is determined most advantageous to CSDB, with cost and price as the primary evaluation criterion. Quotation responses must be submitted via email to Pete Peterson at ppeterson@csdb.org by May 16, 2017 at 5:00 PM Mountain Time, and no formal bidders' conference or site visit requirement has been indicated.

Vendors seeking to respond must be registered on the Colorado Vendor Self Service (ColoradoVSS) website prior to the bid deadline, though non-registered vendors' quotes may be considered if adequate competition among registered vendors does not exist. A 5% preference may be awarded to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) that are officially registered and verified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veteran Enterprise. All vendors must complete and submit a W-9 form with their quotation response, with particular attention to ensuring that vendor information matches exactly with Social Security cards or business registration documents to avoid payment processing delays. The solicitation documents do not identify incumbent vendors, existing infrastructure requirements, or a specific budget range; however, all pricing must remain firm for the entire contract term with no additional reimbursements permitted beyond the quoted amount. The contract is contingent upon the continuing availability of state funds to CSDB.
