About this file
This is a solicitation document from the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) for the purchase of twin mattresses. CSDB seeks to procure 102 Twin XL Standard Depth Mattresses and 19 Twin Standard Depth Mattresses for a total of 121 units. Responses must be submitted via email to Pete Peterson at ppeterson@csdb.org by May 16, 2017 at 5:00 PM Mountain Time, with all items required to be delivered by June 30, 2017. The solicitation does not indicate a formal bidders' conference or site visit requirement. CSDB will make the award based on the responsible vendor whose acceptable response is determined most advantageous, with cost/price as the primary consideration. The resulting agreement will be a fixed-price Purchase Order with terms remaining firm for the entire contract term.
Vendors must submit a firm price that includes all costs incurred, with no additional reimbursements permitted beyond the quoted amount. The contract is contingent upon the continuing availability of state funds to CSDB. A 5% preference may be given to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) that are officially registered and verified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veteran Enterprise. Vendors must be registered on the Colorado Vendor Self Service (ColoradoVSS) website prior to the bid deadline; non-registered vendors' quotes will only be considered if adequate competition among registered vendors does not exist. Vendors must complete and submit the Vendor Response form (Attachment B) and a W-9 form with their email submission. The state is exempt from federal excise taxes and state and local use taxes.
