A $500.00 bid bond is required.

To qualify, bidders must employ sufficient qualified staff at bid submission and throughout the contract term and demonstrate a minimum of five years of documented experience in door repair and replacement services as of the RFB issuance date. Each bid package must include a completed Certification of Experience with references.

The Labor Law Addendum imposes New York State Labor Law Article 8 compliance requirements, including prevailing wage rates set by NYSDOL, eight-hour daily and five-day weekly work limitations except in extraordinary emergencies approved by the Commissioner, and payroll records submission within 30 days of first payroll and every 30 days thereafter, sworn under penalty of perjury. For contracts exceeding $250,000, all laborers must hold ten-hour OSHA-approved construction safety and health certification.
