The scope encompasses planning, design, and furnishings for multiple media centers across the district, each with distinct layouts and functionality requirements. All pricing must include delivered pricing, shipping, installation, and lift gate delivery services. The District will not provide CADD files; vendors work from PDF drawings and the published Design Guide (updated July 2022) establishing standards including minimum 6,200-square-foot facilities, centralized design configurations, and specified functional areas ranging from circulation desks and instructional spaces to multimedia production studios and makerspaces.

The contract term is one year from execution, with the District retaining the right to extend for two additional one-year periods by mutual written agreement without price increases, fuel surcharges, or additional costs. Pricing submitted in proposals must remain firm for ninety days following District receipt. Mason, Inc., located at 2301 Rowland Avenue, Savannah, Georgia, was awarded the contract at a total cost of $324,825.96, effective February 17, 2023 through February 16, 2024.

Contractors must maintain commercial general liability of $1 million per occurrence ($2 million aggregate), commercial automobile liability of $1 million combined single limit, workers' compensation at statutory limits, and umbrella insurance of $1 million per claim ($2 million aggregate). All goods must be new with minimum twelve-month manufacturer warranties. Addendum 3 extended the original deadline from October 13 to October 20, 2022.
