The project requires replacing existing UPS systems with new centralized UPS equipment, including installation of 40kW and 60kVA UPS systems, new panels, maintenance bypass panels, battery cabinets, and a 1500kW natural gas generator. Electrical work must strictly comply with NFPA 70, NFPA 72, and Florida Building Code standards. Contractors must demonstrate technical expertise in electrical systems, maintain facility operational continuity, and perform work primarily during normal business hours (7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).

The solicitation includes a Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation goal of 1% of the contract value, requiring contractors to demonstrate Good Faith Effort in meeting these requirements. Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount and comply with E-Verify employment eligibility requirements. The project allows potential service-disabled veteran business enterprise preferences and requires comprehensive documentation of bidder qualifications, including references for similar projects.
