About this opportunity
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Administrative Services, Division of Procurement and Support Services, is requesting bids for electric motor and pump repair services across ten counties, with bids due September 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
Vendors must be licensed in New Hampshire and demonstrate a minimum of five years of verifiable commercial experience in motor and pump repair. Three client references are required with the bid. The scope encompasses removal and reinstallation of large motors and pump assemblies, mechanical and electrical inspection and diagnosis, precision laser alignment to OEM tolerances, component replacement, vibration and alignment troubleshooting, and replacement-parts sourcing. Work is performed during standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on state business days), though the offer sheet indicates the State seeks pricing for multiple service periods including after-hours and weekend/holiday coverage across geographic zones.
Pricing is structured as hourly labor rates per county across Belknap, Carroll, Cheshire, Coos, Grafton, Hillsborough, Strafford, Sullivan, Merrimack, and Rockingham counties. Vendors may bid on specific counties rather than all ten. All costs—delivery, materials, labor, tools, and permits—are included in the hourly rate; special charges, surcharges, and fuel surcharges are prohibited. Price adjustments on contract anniversary dates are limited to 3 percent maximum with written substantiation submitted thirty days in advance.
The contract term runs from Governor and Executive Council approval through October 31, 2031, with an option to extend for up to two additional years under identical terms and pricing. Upon award, vendors must provide comprehensive general liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, plus workers' compensation insurance per RSA Chapter 281-A. Warranty coverage must cover 100 percent of repair or replacement costs for a minimum of six months from equipment acceptance or the manufacturer's standard warranty period, whichever is greater. An account representative and backup contact must respond to agency inquiries within 24 hours and coordinate quarterly business reviews. Questions are due September 11, 2026.
