About this opportunity
The Oregon State Treasury is conducting a Competitive Sealed Proposal procurement under ORS 279B.060 for a conference room upgrade and maintenance project covering facilities in Tigard and Salem. The primary objectives include upgrading the Tigard conference room to be Microsoft Teams compatible and securing a 6-year maintenance and support contract for conference rooms in both locations. Specific deliverables involve installing new video conferencing equipment, including Poly video systems, Lenovo PCs, Shure wireless microphones, and related accessories. The proposal evaluation will allocate 400 points for the Tigard conference room upgrade, 150 points for annual maintenance, and 150 points for ongoing support, with proposals to be assessed on best value. The key deadline for proposal submission is September 30, 2022, with potential for subsequent interviews, discussions, and negotiations with selected vendors. Qualified vendors are expected to demonstrate technical capabilities for creating a fully integrated Microsoft Teams Room solution and provide comprehensive maintenance support.
The procurement appears to have business inclusion and diversity goals, though specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documents. The contract was ultimately awarded to Cochran, as indicated in the Notice of Award document. The total contract value is not to exceed $150,000, with work expected to commence within 30 days of contract award. Existing infrastructure in the Mill Creek Conference Room in Salem includes LG and Samsung monitors, which must be considered in the proposed solution. The procurement covers facilities in Marion County and Washington County, with a focus on creating modern, technologically integrated conference spaces. Proposers were invited to submit additional recommended services or solutions beyond the base requirements, and the Treasury reserves the right to negotiate final contract terms with the highest-ranking, responsible proposer.
