Upon award, the successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to 100 percent of the contract amount, within 10 days of notification. The Bid Bond will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the contract and provide required bonds within that period. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The County reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities, accept any bid deemed in its best interest, and add or delete from the contract post-award.
