About this opportunity

The Jordan School District (JSD) in Utah is seeking a vendor to supply classroom supplies for its Central Warehouse through a one-year contract beginning in November 2025 and continuing through October 31, 2026. The procurement aims to establish a responsive and responsible vendor capable of providing standard product line items with ongoing availability. Vendors must submit pricing in dollars and cents, rounded to two decimal places, with prices guaranteed for six months from the award date. All pricing must include FOB Destination Freight Prepaid, and bidders must price items according to the specified unit of measure. The quantities listed represent estimated purchases and do not guarantee specific order volumes, with the district planning to place orders on an as-needed basis throughout the contract period. The bid submission deadline is October 30, 2025, and "all or none" bids will not be accepted. Potential vendors must carefully review the detailed requirements, including specific pricing formats, freight terms, and quantity considerations.

The solicitation explicitly excludes vendors dealing exclusively in closeout, surplus, liquidation, overstock, discontinued, or end-of-line inventory, such as jobbers, surplus dealers, clearance resellers, and opportunistic bulk buyers. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to provide products from their standard, consistently available product lines. The Jordan School District will disqualify bidders with minimum order quantities or dollar amounts deemed excessive or not in the district's best interest. Accompanying documentation, specifically Attachment A, outlines standard terms and conditions that include comprehensive requirements around insurance, sales tax exemption, invoicing, payment procedures, warranties, and critical compliance aspects such as background checks for personnel and legal employment verification. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the contract represents a one-year procurement opportunity for classroom supplies with potential for ongoing district needs. The procurement appears to be open to qualified vendors who can meet the district's specific operational and product requirements.
