About this opportunity
The City of South Fulton, Georgia General Services Department is requesting proposals for citywide pest control maintenance services across approximately 29 facilities totaling approximately 398,000 square feet, with proposals due August 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.
Vendors must hold current Georgia pest control licenses and maintain Integrated Pest Management (IPM) training certification. The scope includes routine preventive maintenance, emergency response, corrective treatments, and wildlife removal across four facility categories: City Hall/Administrative offices, Fire Stations/Police Facilities, Parks and Recreation/Community Centers, and Other Facilities. Pricing must be submitted as monthly lump-sum charges by facility type plus separate emergency and corrective response rates for regular hours, after-hours, and weekend/holiday service; cost-plus-a-percentage-of-cost pricing is prohibited.
The City intends to award one or more contracts to multiple qualified vendors by category based on best-value evaluation. The initial contract term is one year with potential renewal for up to three additional one-year terms at the City's sole discretion, contingent upon satisfactory performance. The City does not guarantee minimum work volume or facility assignments to any awarded contractor and reserves the right to reassign work based on performance, capacity, and operational needs.
Required insurance includes commercial general liability with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate limits, $1,000,000 pollution liability coverage, $2,000,000 auto liability coverage, and statutory workers' compensation insurance. No performance or payment bonds are required. Pricing must remain firm for 90 calendar days from proposal submission. Payment terms are net 30 days from receipt of undisputed invoices. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference was held July 14, 2026 via Microsoft Teams. Questions were due July 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time through BidNet Direct.
