About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes for boxes measuring 17 1/4" × 11 1/4" × 12" as a micro purchase under IFB procedures, with quotes due September 9, 2026. The micro purchase will be awarded as a whole or by line item, whichever is in the City's best interest, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award.
All quotes must be submitted electronically through PHLContracts and must remain valid for 60 days from submission. Prior to bid closing, all vendors must submit a signed Consent and Authorization Agreement either through their vendor profile at registration or as an attachment with their first quote to be deemed responsive. Quoted prices must be less than $45,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in CPI-U from January 1, 2020 and rounded to the nearest $1,000. Prices must be quoted net and exclusive of federal excise, transportation, and Pennsylvania sales and use taxes, with delivery on an FOB Destination Point basis.
The contract term is 365 days from the effective date, with automatic termination thereafter and no obligation for the City to receive or pay for products ordered after contract expiration. No changes to prices or terms are permitted after bid opening, and sellers cannot submit multiple quotes for the same products.
Successful sellers must maintain General Liability insurance with a minimum of $500,000 per occurrence, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, and Automobile Liability at $300,000 per occurrence. The City will not engage with sellers indebted for delinquent Philadelphia taxes. All successful sellers are subject to Philadelphia's business income and receipts tax, net profits tax, and city wage tax obligations. Payment is contingent upon City approval of products and delivery of invoices, processed through electronic deposit. The City reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, accept quotes from multiple sellers, or accept quotes on individual items.
