UNSPSC 24141608: Protective ends

UNSPSC 24141608 Protective ends is a Commodity code that in recent state and local solicitations names products including corrugated paper containers, boxes, and custodial supplies—items that function as protective or containment packaging across school district and state agency operations. The issuing bodies under this code span school districts and state procurement offices; Northside Independent School District in San Antonio and the State of California have posted recent opportunities.

Activity is geographically distributed across Texas and California, with recent solicitations including Northside Independent School District's RFP 2026-071 for custodial supplies (due June 4, 2026) and the State of California's RFB RFB-IS-26200561 for corrugated paper containers and boxes (due March 2, 2026). The California solicitation notes that set-aside provisions may apply to small businesses, disabled veteran-owned businesses, or other designated vendor categories under state procurement regulations. NISD's custodial supplies RFP explicitly conditions vendor eligibility on response to the new procurement, warning that failure to bid on RFP 2026-071 will jeopardize the vendor's ability to continue supply beyond the July 31, 2026 expiration of the prior contract.
