The Jordan School District is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for stadium lighting and audio-visual system upgrades at Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah, with a bid deadline of March 17, 2026. The procurement seeks qualified contractors to design and construct a comprehensive sports facility upgrade including demolition of existing stadium lighting fixtures, installation of new LED lighting on poles positioned at the 20-yard line with controllers, ductless split-system HVAC units rated at 18,000-22,000 BTU/hour cooling capacity for the press box, and a complete audio-visual infrastructure system encompassing microphone systems, amplifiers, speaker arrays, mixing consoles, network equipment, and structured cabling. Electrical work specifications include providing new circuit breakers rated at 20-30 amperes for lighting controllers, installing 240-volt single-phase circuits for HVAC split systems, and establishing dedicated power for audio-visual equipment racks. The awarded contractor will be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all specifications outlined in the 100% construction documents dated February 19, 2026 (Project No. 250864, Bid Number 26KP07), with technical coordination and oversight provided by Resolut Group and licensed engineers Brian Hicks and Spencer W. Bidders must submit proposals in accordance with Utah Code Annotated Chapter 63G-6a and applicable Utah Administrative Rules, including completion of the Vendor Response Form, submission of bid bonds, performance bonds, and payment bonds, and certification of compliance with all contract documents and specifications.

All bidders must execute the Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement (Attachment B) certifying compliance with Utah Code 63G-27, confirming they are not engaged in an economic boycott of the State of Israel or other prohibited boycotts as defined by state law. Contractors must also comply with the Jordan School District's Standard Terms and Conditions, which require comprehensive insurance coverage including Worker's Compensation Insurance, Employee's Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence), Comprehensive General Liability ($2,000,000 combined single limit), Comprehensive Automobile Liability ($1,000,000), and Umbrella or Excess Liability Coverage ($5,000,000), with JSD listed as an additional insured. All personnel with direct student contact must undergo background clearance at the contractor's expense per Utah Code 53A-3-410, and contractors must comply with immigration status verification requirements under Utah Senate Bill 81 and anti-discrimination provisions under the Utah Anti-discrimination Act and Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act. Materials and equipment must comply with federal and state laws, and contractors must provide one-year warranties on all products unless otherwise specified. The bid documents do not specify a published project budget or award value range; however, interested contractors should contact the Jordan School District Purchasing Department for cost estimates and clarifications regarding the scope of work and financial parameters associated with this infrastructure upgrade project.
