About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is soliciting quotes for Apple hardware products through the PHLContracts platform with a proposal due date of July 29, 2026. The procurement does not carry set-asides or preference programs beyond standard City of Philadelphia purchasing policies.
The scope encompasses desktop and peripheral equipment with mandatory vendor-provided on-site installation and configuration. All deliveries must be inside deliveries to a loading dock; drop shipment is not acceptable. Vendors must remove packaging debris and submit product literature at the City's request. Training and instruction by the vendor are required. Refurbished equipment is acceptable.
Warranty coverage is specified by equipment category: minimum five-year warranty for servers and IT appliances, four-year coverage for personal computers and laptops, three-year coverage for tablets, and original equipment manufacturer warranty periods for peripherals including printers, copiers, and multifunction devices. Warranty commences after a 30 to 120-day acceptance period. Vendors may offer either a three-year or five-year maintenance option with next-day on-site response, all parts and labor included. Payment for the selected maintenance option is due after equipment delivery and City acceptance.
Submission requires vendors to operate in the correct Seller role within PHLContracts, provide unit costs and applicable discounts for each item, answer all mandatory questions, accept terms and conditions, and upload required attachments. The LBE certification question appears in the submission process, though the LBE Program does not apply to the Office Automation Program itself. Red validation warnings must be resolved before quote submission.
