About this file
This is an Office Automation Form detailing installation, configuration, and maintenance requirements for the City of Philadelphia's Apple Hardware Products procurement through PHLContracts. The procurement encompasses desktop and peripheral equipment delivery with mandatory on-site installation and configuration by the vendor. All deliveries must be inside deliveries to a loading dock, and vendors are required to remove packaging debris. The City requests product literature on offered items. Training and instruction by the vendor are required as part of this engagement.
The procurement specifies comprehensive warranty coverage with a minimum five-year warranty period for servers and IT appliances, four-year coverage for personal computers and laptops, three-year coverage for tablets, and original equipment manufacturer warranty periods for peripherals including printers, copiers, and multifunction devices. Warranty coverage commences after a 30 to 120-day acceptance period. Maintenance requirements include next-day on-site response with all parts and labor included, with payment for the selected maintenance option due after equipment delivery and City acceptance. The vendor may offer either a three-year or five-year maintenance option. Refurbished equipment is acceptable. Vendors must review all requirements and complete the Office Automation request form before submitting quotes to the City.
