About this opportunity
The State of Maryland, through the Comptroller of Maryland's Revenue Administration Division, is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a Commodity contract to obtain a source of supply for Maryland Sales and Use Tax Books and Forms. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) who can ensure the books and forms meet the detailed specifications provided. The required materials include monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual form books, with estimated quantities ranging from 1,200 to 5,215 per year. Bids are due by July 27, 2022, and the successful vendor(s) must deliver the completed materials to the post office by that date. The contract will be awarded on a lot basis, with bidders required to submit pricing for all line items. Pricing may be adjusted annually based on the Consumer Price Index.
This is a Small Business Reserve procurement, and minority business enterprises are encouraged to respond. The contract does not include any Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) subcontracting goals, but the state reserves the right to award the contract to a preference provider if the bid is deemed a fair market price. The IFB does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it provide any information about award values or budget ranges.
