About this opportunity

The Nevada Army National Guard is requesting bids to provide and install dedicated shore power infrastructure supporting Auxiliary Lifting System and Motorized Work Operations vehicle operations at the Las Vegas Readiness Center, with proposals due September 5, 2026.

The scope encompasses design and installation of a complete shore power system including a new electrical service entrance, distribution infrastructure, and dedicated charging stations capable of supporting multiple vehicle operations simultaneously. The system includes one 100-amp, 208-volt single-phase disconnect mounted on a uni-strut assembly, one W3P1 cable assembly (owner-furnished, contractor-installed), one weatherproof duplex receptacle for maintenance, new electrical feeders in 1.5-inch rigid galvanized conduit with specified conductor materials, surface-mounted and underground conduit routing, a new NEMA 4 enclosure for cable storage and protection, bollard vehicular protection, and a concrete housekeeping pad extending 3 feet in front of the equipment assembly. All work must comply with the 2024 International Building Code, 2023 National Electrical Code, and Nevada State Public Works Division electrical standards. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, equipment, and engineering services; coordinate with existing facility systems; conduct arc flash hazard assessments; and ensure UL-labeled equipment throughout. The electrical design documents have been developed to 100% construction-document phase by ATL (Atlas Electrical).

The contractor must demonstrate experience with military facility infrastructure projects and capability to meet the specialized electrical and charging requirements for ALS/MWO vehicle platforms. Pricing shall be submitted on a fixed-price basis. Award will be made to the responsive bidder offering best value. Funding is provided through military construction or operations and maintenance appropriations. Site visits are available to allow potential bidders to assess facility conditions. Evaluation criteria emphasize contractor qualifications, technical approach, project scheduling, and cost.
