About this opportunity

The State of Georgia, through the Department of Driver Services (DDS), is seeking a qualified vendor to provide materials, labor, supervision, and installation of ADA-compliant door operators throughout the state. The purpose of this electronic Request for Quote (eRFQ) is to establish a one-time buy with a single supplier who can meet the specified requirements. The vendor will be responsible for the full scope of work, including the removal and replacement of existing equipment, to ensure compliance with ADA standards. Bidders must field verify voltage and electric heat specifications for the new equipment and include duct work cleaning in their total price. The solicitation is open to all qualified vendors, and the award will be made to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting the stated specifications. The bid is due on October 5, 2023, and questions can be directed to the Issuing Officer, Lisa Gunthorp, by email.

This contract opportunity does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current Notice of Intent to Award indicates that the State intends to award the contract to Harvest Investment Group, the apparent successful offeror who submitted the lowest bid. The contract value is $1.00 at 100% of the bid. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed, and the solicitation does not require integration with any existing infrastructure or technology.
