About this file

This document is a Q&A response for an RFX (Request for X) solicitation issued by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) for the procurement of ADA door operators and installation. The RFX, numbered 47500-DDS0000103, seeks suppliers to provide and install the door operators, with either hardwired wave hands or wireless battery-operated push plates accepted. Safety sensors are not required, and the door operators do not need to be integrated with any existing access control systems. Vendors are responsible for visiting the locations to determine material requirements, as no site photos are available. The schedule for installations will be coordinated with DDS Facilities Staff, with no specified order for completing the work, which must be finished by the project deadline. The color preference for the operators is to match the existing door fronts at each location.

Regarding pricing and contract requirements, the solicitation includes a contractor affidavit and sub-contractor affidavit, which are only required if sub-contractors are utilized. The Federal work authorization user identification number is the same as the E-Verify user ID. Once all required documentation is completed, it must be scanned and uploaded back to the event in the Team Georgia Marketplace.
