About this opportunity
The Jasper County Charter System (JCCS) in Monticello, Georgia, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP 2026_8013_0100) for the procurement of food service kitchen equipment. The district seeks qualified vendors to provide one convection steamer (boilerless, countertop model Cleveland Range 22CET66.2), one electric convection oven (Convotherm K12 C4 ET 6.20ES-N DD), one electric combi oven (Garland MCO-ED-20-S), two pass-thru heated cabinets (Delfield DSLHPT1-S), and two pass-thru refrigerators (Delfield DSLRPT1-S). Proposals must be submitted by 12:00 pm EST on April 20, 2026, to both Robbie Key, Director of Maintenance (Rkey@jasper.k12.ga.us), and Anne Harrison, Director of Finance (aharrison@jasper.k12.ga.us), with confirmation of email receipt required from both contacts. All pricing must include shipping and handling with lift gate and pallet jack service, with delivery and placement inside the facility located at 721 Highway 212 West, Monticello, Georgia 31064. Site visits may be scheduled by contacting Robbie Key via email only; phone calls are not accepted. Evaluation criteria prioritize cost as the highest weighted factor, followed by product quality, bidder qualifications and experience, vendor proximity to JCCS, and prior district experience with the vendor. Vendors must provide a minimum of three references for similar projects, including customer names, addresses, contact names, and telephone/fax numbers. Warranty terms must be clearly defined, and all delivery and installation charges must be itemized separately from equipment costs.
The RFP does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to disadvantaged enterprises or particular organization types; however, the district reserves the right to negotiate with proposers and to defer, reduce, or cancel the RFP if funding becomes unavailable or is not approved. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the procurement documentation. The successful proposer will be required to finalize and execute a contract within a maximum of 60 days following award notification, with failure to execute constituting grounds for voiding the award and potentially awarding the contract to the next qualified proposer. JCCS reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals and will not accept standard commercial contract clauses, including indemnification provisions, non-Georgia governing law requirements, or provisions binding the district to unknown terms and conditions. The specific budget or award value for this procurement is not disclosed in the available documentation.
