About this opportunity
Park City Municipal Corporation is requesting proposals for design and installation of protective golf netting along the northeast perimeter of the 3Kings Water Treatment Plant in Park City, Utah, with proposals due July 23, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
The scope covers approximately 100 linear feet of netting at 50 feet in height to mitigate errant golf balls from the adjacent Park City Municipal Golf Course. Work includes engineering and structural design by a licensed Professional Engineer, construction drawings and calculations, fabrication and installation of poles, foundations, netting, cables, anchors, and hardware, site restoration, and final inspection and closeout. The approved variance and conceptual design establish baseline specifications incorporating approximately 40–50 foot existing pine trees as natural barriers with additional trees to be planted in front of the netting structure. Site visits are strongly encouraged and coordinated through Harrison Holley, Public Utilities Engineer, at harrison.holley@parkcity.gov or (435) 615-5321.
Proposals will be evaluated on relevant experience and qualifications (35 percent), proposed system and project approach (25 percent), references and past performance (15 percent), project schedule (10 percent), and cost proposal (15 percent). Respondents must submit proposals limited to ten pages, electronically via the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P), including cover letter, firm qualifications, descriptions of at least two similar completed projects with owner references, project team identification, proposed system description with warranty information, project schedule, and a separate detailed cost proposal.
The successful respondent must enter into PCMC's standard Construction Agreement, be authorized to do business in Utah at contract execution, and hold a valid PCMC business license if located within Park City limits. The anticipated notice of award is July 27, 2026, with notice to proceed by August 7, 2026, and project completion October 15, 2026. Contracts exceeding $100,000 in aggregate cost require City Council approval. Questions are due in writing through U3P by 5:00 p.m. on July 15, 2026. Proposals remain valid for 90 days after submission.
