About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is seeking applications for cooperative agreement awards to establish Resettlement Support Centers (RSCs) in Africa, Asia, Austria, Eurasia, Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Turkiye and the Middle East (TuME). The purpose of the RSCs is to assist PRM in preparing the necessary casework for persons eligible for interview by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for refugee resettlement. PRM is seeking proposals that demonstrate cost savings and efficiencies in refugee processing. Applications are due by June 9, 2024, and PRM anticipates making award decisions within six months, subject to availability of funds.

The funding opportunity will provide full financial support for the selected organizations, with awards ranging from $0 to $200 million per year. The initial period of performance is from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025, with the possibility of two one-year extensions through September 30, 2027. PRM expects the selected RSCs to assist in preparing casework for up to 125,000 refugee arrivals in FY 2025, with operations based in the specified regional locations.
