About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance, repair and preservation of one YD-259 Floating Crane. The crane measures approximately 175 feet in length, 75 feet wide, with a 4-foot draft and is homeported at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Offerors must have facilities capable of accommodating the crane located in the Puget Sound region of Washington. The contract will be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. The YP-259 has the following characteristics:

Light Load is approx. 1,337 L Tons

The contractor's facility must possess the capability of accommodating one (1) YD-259 Floating Crane with the dimensions as stated above and be in the geographic area of considerations.
Geographic Area of consideration: This vessel is home ported at PSNS&IMF, WA. To facilitate proper government oversight, the facility shall be located in the Puget Sound, WA region. For this procurement, the Puget Sound, WA region is defined as West Coast of the continental US, starting from Olympia, WA extending northward to Bellingham, WA.
The expected Period of Performance is scheduled to be from 04 March 2020 to 30 June 2020.
The Government is contemplating a full and open competition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 336611.
