About this opportunity
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking contractors to provide non-drinking water sample analysis services, including analyses of water, soil, sludge, sediment, and other matrices. The services will support the Defense Centers for Public Health-Aberdeen (DCPH-A) mission to ensure the safety and security of operating environments and military bases. The contractor must have the capability to perform a wide range of organic, inorganic, and biological analyses within strict turnaround time and quality assurance requirements. Key personnel must meet specific qualifications, and the contractor may subcontract with up to two other qualified laboratories. The government will use a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan to monitor contractor performance. The anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price with a 5-year ordering period from June 2024 to June 2029.
This opportunity is not set-aside. The NAICS code is 541380: Testing Laboratories. The anticipated annual sample volume is 3,000 to 10,000, with the ability to handle increases due to natural disasters or military mobilization. The government has not provided any information about potential incumbents or current contractors, award values, or budget ranges.
