About this opportunity
The Defense Health Agency seeks to procure, deliver, and install a water purification system including maintenance and water testing at Naval Hospital Pensacola, with quotations due July 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM Central Time. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 333310 (Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing).
Place of performance is Building 2268, Room 2028, 6000 West Highway 98, Pensacola, Florida 32512. The system must comply with ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023 standards for "Critical Water" and support an estimated 25 gallons per minute peak demand and 300 gallons per day consumption, serving two Steris Washer-Disinfectors, one three-basin reprocessing sink with deionized faucet, one clean-side DI faucet, and one Caviwave ultrasonic cleaning system. The installation space measures 5 feet by 16 feet with no deviation allowed. The contractor must furnish all design, supply, installation labor, tools, materials, and equipment. The Government provides facility space, electrical connections, municipal feedwater, drainage, and a 200-linear-foot CPVC Schedule 80 distribution loop from Room 2028 to Room 2012E.
The system must include continuous total organic carbon (TOC) monitoring with audible and visual critical alarms, Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification per ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023, and preventive maintenance including monthly pre-filter and post-filter replacement, semi-annual DI tank exchanges, and annual carbon media and UV lamp replacement using OEM-certified components only. The contractor must conduct routine water quality testing per AAMI ST108, respond on-site within 24 hours to failed water quality tests, and bear all associated re-testing costs. Operations are Monday through Friday, 0800–1630, excluding Federal holidays.
The contract structure includes installation (CLIN 0001) and one-year base maintenance and water testing (CLINs 0002–0003), with four one-year option periods. Award will be made to the responsible vendor offering the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). An optional site visit is scheduled for June 30, 2026 at 10:30 AM Central Time.
