About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, seeks the purchase and installation of blade seals for Powerhouse II Main Unit Kaplan turbines at Bonneville Lock and Dam, with proposals due September 25 and anticipated contract award on or about September 30.

Place of performance is Bonneville Dam, Cascade Locks, Oregon. The Government requests expedited fabrication, delivery, and installation at the earliest practicable opportunity following award. Final seal design and dimensions will be finalized through discussions between the awarded contractor and Bonneville Dam engineering immediately after contract award. While not all personnel must be fluent in English, at least one representative must be fluent in both English and any non-English language spoken by other workers to facilitate safety training translation. All individuals will receive mandatory Affected Persons training post-award for compliance with the hazardous energy control program; upon completion, they receive a personal lock and identifying nametag for facility access at Bonneville Dam.
