About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 16 has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for a mobile CT lease. The VA is seeking a contractor to provide a fully functional mobile CT scanner and trailer, including transportation, installation, maintenance, and support services, for a one-month base period with four one-month option periods. The mobile CT unit must meet specific technical requirements and be capable of DICOM communication with the VA's PACS system. Responses to the RFI are due by August 6, 2024, and should include the company's information, business size, qualifications, and availability under any government contracts. Vendors are also asked to provide estimated pricing for the required services.

This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation, and the government will not pay for or compensate respondents. The anticipated SBA size standard for the NAICS code 532490 (Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing) is $40 million. The RFI does not specify any set-aside designations, potential incumbents, or award values, but it is intended to help the VA determine the procurement strategy for the forthcoming solicitation.
