About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command, through NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor, is soliciting Firm-Fixed-Price quotes for Vertical Wind Tunnel (VWT) Facility Services to support Military Free Fall simulator training for Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel. The contractor must provide access to a single VWT facility with a minimum 14-foot chamber diameter capable of supporting 400 pounds of personnel and equipment, located within a 30-mile radius of EOD Training and Evaluation Unit One in San Diego, California. Key requirements include delivering 60 hours of annual facility access, maintaining staffing of at least one VWT operator and one VWT instructor holding Level I Tunnel Instructor Certification from the International Bodyflight Association, providing two or more Level 2 IBA Flight Skill Coaches, supplying two team rooms with eight-person capacity each, and maintaining comprehensive safety and emergency action plans.
