Key requirements include maintaining new or like-new vending machines, continuous on-site inventory management, restocking within 48 hours of minimum levels, and providing real-time data reporting systems to track consumption and availability. The contractor must ensure machines remain functional at all times and implement barcode tracking systems for tools and supplies. This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and no incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation materials. The BPA will have a performance period of five years or until the BPA ceiling is reached, whichever occurs first, with the agreement structured as a base year plus four ordering periods totaling 60 months. The vending machines will be installed in the main building's basement and 4th floor B-Wing at the BEP facility in Washington, DC. While specific award values are not disclosed, the extensive item list in Attachment A includes numerous consumable products across multiple categories, each with suggested minimum and maximum quantities for inventory management. The solicitation is classified under NAICS code 541614 for Process, Physical Distribution and Logistics Consulting Services, and interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award consideration.
