About this opportunity
The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, seeks furnishing, installation, and commissioning of a complete vehicle wash rack system, with quotations due August 7, 2026 and questions due August 3, 2026. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside (small business size standard USD 22,000,000).
Place of performance is Tyndall AFB, Florida (DoDAAC F4A330). The system must support two interior vehicle wash bays and one exterior wash bay for larger vehicles. Each interior bay requires eight wash positions with six specified functions (tire cleaner, presoak, detergent/soap, foam brush, wax, and high-pressure rinse), with two additional positions assigned at contractor discretion subject to Government approval. The exterior bay includes one wash station on each side with the same eight-position structure. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision; integrate components into government-furnished 3/4-inch copper water supply and 208V 3-phase electrical service; provide freeze protection for exposed components; and deliver a fully operational, commissioned system within 60 calendar days of award.
Work must comply with the attached Statement of Work. The contractor is responsible for system startup, commissioning, testing, provision of 30 gallons of each required startup chemical (subject to environmental compliance), shop drawings, product submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, and basic operator orientation. Riveer InterClean is the basis of design; equal products meeting SOW performance requirements are acceptable. Buy American Act compliance applies.
Quotations are firm-fixed-price across three contract line items (interior bays, exterior bay, installation). Evaluation weighs price and technical capability as approximately equal factors. The primary contracting officer is David Volberg (david.volberg@us.af.mil, 850-283-8615). A mandatory site visit was held July 28, 2026 at 2:30 PM CST. Amendment 02 (issued August 5) corrected the question due date to August 3; Amendment 03 added Q&A documentation and floor plans, extended the quotation deadline to August 12. NAICS 238290; PSC N049.
