About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking contractors to provide preventive maintenance services for vehicle barrier systems at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. The contract requires comprehensive maintenance of barrier systems at three gates: Berkeley Gate (1 netting system), Oak Forest Gate (1 inbound/outbound wedge barrier), and Slocumb Gate (2 inbound/2 outbound wedge barriers). Contractors must provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, travel, periodic inspection, minor repair, and other necessary services to maintain vehicle barriers according to Performance Work Statement requirements and manufacturer service manuals. The contractor must maintain a 96% operational rate for the barrier systems and provide quarterly and annual preventive maintenance services. Additional requirements include conducting emergency and routine service calls, providing annual training, maintaining detailed reporting with quarterly reports and maintenance logs, and managing environmental compliance. The contract also mandates maintaining a contractor hotline and participating in annual program management reviews to ensure continuous system functionality, safety, and operational readiness across different barrier types and manufacturers.

Preventive Maintenance (Non-Personal Service): The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, travel, periodic inspection, minor repair, and other items and services necessary to provide Preventive Maintenance (PM) on Vehicle Barriers in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Section 1.3.1 and Manufacturer's Service Manuals, and other identified requirements.
