About this opportunity
Naval Sea Systems Command seeks quotations for various hose assemblies with proposals due July 13, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and carries OPSEC requirements but does not require an OPSEC Plan submission.
Place of performance and delivery are Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine 03904, with required delivery of August 5, 2026. NAICS code 332912 applies (Fluid Power Valve and Hose Fitting Manufacturing, 1,000-employee size standard). PSC code is 4720 (Hose and Flexible Tubing).
The solicitation covers nine line items totaling 24 hose assemblies ranging from 3 feet to 100 feet in length with 1-inch or 1.5-inch diameters. Working pressures range from 150 to 225 PSI; vacuum ratings are 29 inches of mercury or higher. Eight items specify Goodyear/Continental ExtremeFlex Plicord hose with CRES Camlock crimped fittings (Dixon or PT Coupling); Item 009 requires Kuriyama Kuritec Polywire Plus K7300 with barbed fittings. All assemblies must pass hydrostatic proof testing at rated pressure for five minutes with zero leakage, followed by post-test inspection, cleaning, drying, and end plugging. Crimp installation must conform to manufacturer specifications and NAHAD 500 guidelines.
Contractors must submit Certificates of Hydrostatic Test for each assembly and Certificates of Compliance attesting full compliance with contract requirements. Quotations must include freight costs (F.O.B. Destination) and be submitted via email with SAM registration required. Evaluation prioritizes technical acceptability and schedule adherence, with lowest price as final factor.
