About this opportunity
The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) published this Special Notice to announce the Winter FY26 Industry Forum for the IT Programs and Support Services Division. The event, originally scheduled for January 13, 2026, was rescheduled to Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 1:30 to 4:30 PM Central Time due to a scheduling conflict. The forum will be held in person at the Scott Event Center, located at 47 Ward Drive, Building 1560, on Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. This Special Notice is intended to inform contractor representatives about the upcoming industry engagement opportunity and provide logistical details for participation. The notice was initially posted on December 18, 2025, with a stated due date of February 19, 2026, and has been updated multiple times as details were finalized.
The primary purpose of this Industry Forum is to facilitate dialogue between USTRANSCOM and the contractor community regarding IT programs, acquisitions, and support services. The agenda includes opening remarks on organizational structure and acquisition updates from senior leadership, a dedicated small business discussion segment, and a panel discussion covering topics such as Contracting Security Officer (CSO) matters, acquisition reform, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. Attendance is open to all contractor representatives without formal registration requirements; however, individuals without existing Scott AFB access must submit a visitor pass request by February 13, 2026, providing their full name, date of birth, and valid driver's license number to transcom.scott.tcaq.mbx.d-industry-day@mail.mil. All visitors are subject to a background check and must present a Real ID-compliant or federally issued photo identification at entry. Refreshments are available for purchase at a cash bar, and presentation slides from the forum have been made available following the event's conclusion.
