The project involves replacing roofing systems for two housing units: the Special Housing Unit (SHU) covering approximately 16,418 square feet and the General Housing Unit (GHU) covering approximately 25,000 square feet. The estimated project value falls within the $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 range as specified under Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204, though this represents a broad range rather than a specific budget allocation. The total performance period is estimated at 357 calendar days, with potential security clearance investigations requiring an additional 30 days or more. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the roof replacement work. All future solicitation information and updates will be distributed exclusively through SAM.gov, and the government emphasizes that only seriously interested contractors capable of performing as prime contractors should respond to avoid delays in the solicitation process.
