The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. A single solicitation will be issued for SHU/GHU Roof Replacement. The FBOP, United States Penitentiary (USP Lee) located at Hickory Flats Road, Pennington Gap, VA 24277 intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials to replace the Special Housing Unit (SHU) and General Housing Unit (GHU) roofs.

This market research questionnaire is for information purposes only. The described requirement may or may not be included in the subsequent solicitation.

A summary of the requirements is as follows: (NOTE: Requirements are subject to change)

The contractor will provide labor, equipment and materials needed to complete the project. The work includes, but is not limited to the following:

Replace Special Housing Unit (SHU) roof - approximately 16,418 square feet.

Replace General Housing Unit (GHU) roof - approximately 25,000 square feet.
