About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations (EMS) Division is seeking a contractor to lease 119 Multi-functional Devices (MFDs) for locations in Alaska, Guam, and Hawaii. This Request for Information (RFI) is designed to assess market interest and vendor capabilities for a comprehensive two-month equipment lease that includes installation, removal, full-service maintenance, consumable supplies, key operator training, reporting, relocations, and network security capabilities. The procurement requires vendors to deliver and have all devices operational by May 1, 2025, with a base performance period from May 1-31, 2025, and an optional extension through June 30, 2025. Interested vendors must submit their business name, DUNS number, cage code, and point of contact information via email to Tyler Bowman or David Corvino by April 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST. This RFI is strictly voluntary and does not obligate the government to award a contract or compensate respondents for information or preparation costs.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this procurement, making it open to all qualified vendors in the Office Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing industry (NAICS 532420). The delivery schedule attachment reveals 119 specific MFD locations across multiple military installations, including Camp Smith, MCBH Kaneohe Bay, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickham, Eielson Air Force Base, Fort Wainwright, and Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, with additional sites at NOAA and DLA facilities. While no specific award value is mentioned, the comprehensive nature of the lease suggests a significant short-term contract involving device deployment, maintenance, and network integration. The procurement covers devices across three OCONUS locations, indicating a complex logistical requirement that will demand vendor expertise in military and government technology infrastructure. The short two-month lease period, with a potential one-month extension, suggests this may be a temporary or specialized equipment requirement for the Defense Logistics Agency.
